Position Description:
Installs, monitors, and maintains company databases and Unix servers. Ensures data integrity by performing regularly scheduled backups and on-demand backups as needed. The Proposal Analyst possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures to complex proposals and proposal team coordination.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for Smart Grid and Smart Metering solutions proposal activity worldwide. Handle multiple concurrent projects with varying degrees of complexity.
• Implement and execute the proposal process from start to finish from point of opportunity identification through completion of final document. Scope includes analyzing RFP requirements, leading proposal opportunity kickoff calls with proposal project team, managing proposal project timeline, writing and editing all proposal sections, producing a highly quality proposal, fielding follow-up questions, assisting with shortlist presentations, and conducting post-mortems with the proposal team.
• Interface with relevant proposal project team members (Solutions Architects/ Product Management/Marketing/Product Development/Project Management/Contracts/Partner Liaison), Sales Management, Marketing Management and Senior Management to oversee proposal production processes and develop, customize, and organize key content.
