IT Infrastructure Director

IT Infrastructure Director – PERM – Raleigh, NC

The IT Infrastructure Director will have responsibility for the enterprise infrastructure including networks, storage, and computer systems. Employ appropriate monitoring and change control processes to ensure the infrastructure is stable, highly available, highly scalable, and meets the performance standards necessary to support current and future business needs.

Sr. ETL Developer Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 10+ years of IT infrastructure administration experience with SaaS experience preferred
• Project management skills to execute and manage strategic IT infrastructure project plans
• Possesses a broad range of infrastructure technology understanding and a broad technology exposure to engineering solutions to be able to integrate IT infrastructure and business operations
• Ability to communicate effectively within the infrastructure team, IT groups, and a mid-sized matrix organization
• Ability to contribute extra time and energy beyond the regular work week as required business users alike

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 10+ years’ experience supporting various infrastructure technologies such as mid-tier EMC storage systems, VMWare virtualization, Dell rack, and Cisco UCS blade compute solutions, Cisco networking technologies
• 10+ years’ experience supporting Microsoft server and Active Directory technologies as well as Linux systems
• 5+ years’ experience creating infrastructure project plans and managing infrastructure projects
• 3+ years’ experience creating annual or multi-year strategic infrastructure technology plans and budget forecasts
• 5 years’ experience working with vendors to engineer appropriate IT infrastructure systems and solutions
• 5 years’ experience leading an infrastructure engineering and systems administrator team

Define the strategy, planned business outcomes and technology approach. Key liaison between the IT teams deploying information systems, the line-of-business staff performing the process work and the teams (internal/external) developing solutions; connecting the IT and business domains while managing communication and expectations between each side.

Global ERP Program Director Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelors’ degree (required) in business administration, accounting/finance, and/or management information systems; candidates with an MBA, strongly preferred
• At least 10 years of relevant and progressive experience driving global business process improvement and systems implementations and leading projects from design, development to implementation of IT solutions; with proven experience in the operation and analysis of database hardware, software, and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership of ERP transformations including project management, analytical, strategic, problem solving experience; displaying an ability to work effectively within complex decision making and organizational structures
• Strong business acumen and judgment, with the ability think strategically about business issues and accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a “general manager’s” point of view; including solid knowledge of statistical methods and benchmarking techniques with the ability to identify performance metrics that accurately reflect the state of a given process and/or business
• Working knowledge of data warehousing and data extraction with the ability to conduct research into systems issues and products, as required.
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language with the demonstrated ability to teach and share knowledge with others in a clear and concise manner; along with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both small and large groups and to handle questions in a commercially astute and sensitive manner
• Strong leadership and teaming capabilities with the ability to operate independently, affect change across functions, and have a track record of delivered results
• Strong business analysis that generates business insights that add measurable value with current knowledge of current trends in ERP implementation best-practices

Sr. Director Digital Demand Generation Skills & Requirements:

• 8-10+ years of digital demand generation experience at a manager or director level
• Experience developing and/or managing the execution of digital campaigns, both inbound and outbound
